pole saw

bte the company i just started climbing for introduced me to a style of polesaw i was not use to ... for the past 6 years i was using jamerson poles and a saw adapter witch i thought was better than anything i had seen, but my first day i asked a groundy to tie off a polesaw,, i pulled up a 12foot ashpole with a saw head on it was light but really [censored] long for what i needed .. well as the season went i learned to love it
if you havent tried it do the only proplem i run into now is storage but i found ways to tie it to the truck or chipper, a 12foot ash pole cost about 35cents:} run them over, loose them ,leave them behind ,just make a new one how much do the jamerson poles cost?

cashmoney,

i hear you on the pole saw, thats all i have used and it works fine, if i feel it is too long for something it usually means i can get to it with my hand saw.... which company are you working for in MA?

the question i've always had about ash/wood pole saws and pruners are their dialectic properties. a little dirt and dust can turn a fiberglass pole into a conductor - wood poles retain water and dirt much more than fiberglass. given a choice, i like the flexibility of using a 6,8,10, or 12 foot pole depending on the situation.

peace,

mk
