Pictures of your chipper truck, lets see them!

We probably only use the trailers a couple times a month. On big removal jobs the trailers come in handy. The trucks turn poorly, but you get used to it. If you gave the guys the choice of a maneuverable chip truck and chipper or the grapple... the would take the poor turning grapple any day. We have done jobs where we park the trailers close by, load the trucks, and then unload the truck into the trailer.

Ironically, we do mostly large pruning jobs. Most of the removals we get are part of a larger pruning job. These trucks are owned for storm work... I could not justify them at home under any circumstance, but they make day to day tree work a lot easier and I'm glad we have them.

Nice.

That's my ideal bucket truck.

If I stick with my own business on the side I'll get a short wheeled base bucket (No chevy though

), or a spider.

Looks like a tough place to work.

I started working at Almstead just before by 18th birthday. Left there in 1997. They were good to me... taught me a lot! It was cool to do a project with them all these years later!

Built the wood and the Ali and stainless had welded up for me.
I like them because they can be easily assembled and dissambled and they are pretty light wt.

Flat bed, dump may go on Big Red this winter.

C'est tres magnifique?
Comment est-ce que vous aimez le load handler?
I am using Hockey rink plastic screwed to the bed rail and a few more pieces on the wood and an old plastic bed for the bottom. We still need to unjam the sides so it will unload.
How do you deal with the jam up?

Ropeshield,

What size engine is that bandit and how do you like it? Plus did you extend the hitch?

Matdand,

Nice little set up and graphics. Any new pics of chipper with graphics.

The loadhandler has impressed more than one! Its not as cool as having a dump box, but hey, it was waaaayyyy cheaper. I cut a few logs that fit flush between the back wall and the wheels to minimize the side jamming. Works OK. I also spray a lub on the bottom before unrolling the tarp so its extra slippery. Seems to help.

The chipper is basicaly info and small logo on the back and the shoot, all in flat black. I could post pics tomorrow if you want.

Merci pour les commentaires!!!
