pick up dump box

I think that is pretty cool...can you easily remove that dump box if you dont want it? Or is it semi permanent...as in there are screws and such to get it out

I think that I'd like to have wheelie bars on that or else I wonder how long the hinge points would last. The box seems to flex quite a bit. It doesn't look very Tom-Proof :)

You're such a pessimist.

Besides, you got that new welder!

Throw some higher sides on that and I bet it would drop a load of chips pretty good. It looks a lot cheaper than making your truck into a dump body. I would be worried about the durability. Looks like we would break it.

My EZ-Dumper is about as lightweight as I would go... I love this idea, but like TD says, it's not quite "Tom" proof LOL... Plus, I put my EZ dumper 'up' to chip into it.

Great idea. I think because there is no hydraulic lines that run to it the truck doesn't have to be registered commercially. I've been told that if your truck has an ez dump on it that it must be ommercially insured. This looks like it has solved that problem and would be nice for someone like myself who does a good deal of side work but not enough to pay for commercial auto insurance.

(none of the above statements have been fact checked, just speculated and passed down the line)

Like FT said it looks great for us that like to do just a little side work. Seems like an inexpensive alternative. I would be curious about the durability as well.

Great find!!! Let us know the price. Like others have said, these would be great for small side jobs and with my first vehicle(a truck) coming up around January, this thing would really save me some effort for my small side jobs!!

average price is $ 1000 for a full size truck, weighs about 200 lbs.

They also have one to work around a goose neck ball.

It's not worth $1k.

What makes 1000 to high? Just curious. What can you get for 1000 that is comparable? Or what else is out there around the same money?

Personally still sounds good for a little backwoods boy like myself. It would be nice for selling firewood, doing small side jobs. Really i think its a good idea. But i haven't educated myself on what else there are as alternatives. So i ask you what else is out there in a comparable price range? What do you think would be a more reasonable price for this type of dump?

Ohh one last thing if you visit the web site, one of the models has a roll out mesh top, could be nice for chipping.

Lots of questions answer any or all.

I disagree. How many loads would you have to unload by hand for it to be worth it?

As long as its well built, and warranted for a reasonable period I dont think a grand is too bad.

You gonna try one out Jimmy?
