The young dude is keen. Damn good groundie, runs some smooth ropes in da porty. I guess he has moved up, literally. Really mature for his 24 years. Love having him around, hard worker for sure. Can't keep his hands of the harness now, and I don't complain. No tautline or blakes, went straight to HC and VT. A quick learner. Wrench soon.

At the top in the heads. Those fronds can reach 10' in length. Massive and very dangerous palms. Delroy got a strong heart fer sure.

I would never stop that dude from making something better for his wife and kid. He would have my blessing. He is such a good kid. Will make a far better climber than me that is fer sure. Strong and disciplined. Very good listener.

I'll trade you for 3 apprentices. What they lack in skill they make up for in..... damn that's as far as I got. I kid they're good boys, sure can climb the hell out of the bottom 30 feet of a tree. One of them will even tell you how to do anything, even though you didn't ask.

Ha Wood I like that last one, " They will even tell you how to do anything, even though you didn't ask ." It takes all kinds. By the way I am Canadian and lived in Toronto for five years up at Finch and Warden. Bridletowne Circle area. I love that city.

Thanks for sharing the photos of Delroy. Maybe you will have a new avatar of yourself soon...a photo of you relaxing on the beach with Sam with Del in the background gettin it done. Nah, I know you love to climb! I'm sure you'll get him well trained in his new position there. Lookin' good. And tell Delroy I said "Always use two hands on that saw". HAHAHAHAH

African tulip ( and sh!t tons of vines). Cleared them out of a huge monkeypod grove for a wetland restoration project. Pieced down down eight (65-80 footers) in two days, good fun.
