Why so much vitreol, really?

An AFL team, brought in to the NFL as an expansion team, never won a damn thing in 40 years, but turned out some of the most respected, hard working, blue collar players like Ron Burton, Jim Nance, John Hannah and Steve Grogan.

With a coach that was run out of Cleveland, and a backup quarterback who no one ever heard of, we finally win by beating the glitzy, high octane Rams (who had just recently won the big one anyway). All of this in the salary-cap/free agency era, unlike previous Dynasties like Green Bay, Dallas and San Fran, who built juggernauts by holding on to the best players for their entire careers.

You can go on all day about cheating, spygate, blah blah blah, but you and every other jealous hater out there know that EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE did the same thing.

People should love the Patriots, but since we came up so fast, it's easy for all of those out there who haven't won anything recently to 'hate a winner,' just like so many people hated the Yankees or the Dallas Cowboys when they were winning so much.

We are alot different from them. We were underdogs for decades. It's a good story. It's too bad your envy doesn't allow you to see that.

sucks(for the Eagles anyway) that the Phillies scored more point than the Eagles on Sunday. The Phillies handed the Dodgers a good ole fashioned a&& whooping last night

Wow! as a fan of Philadelphia sports for forty years,you sort of know that your guy wont get it done,that we NEVER have that big moment! That is what I love about THIS team!! They DO get it done!! What a game last night!!
2 outs,two on,

9th inning,Jimmy Rollins smacks a shot right in the gap ,drives in 2 to win it GAME OVER!!
Im So glad I stayed up its worth feeling sleep deprived!!
Oh and as a side note most of the guys on this team are REALLY good guys!!

I was there last night. What an awesome game. I love no matter how far into the game it is there is really never an end untill a full 9 innings are played.

Got myself some world series tickets. Bought one for my pop too. He's never been to a world series game before. What a wonderful time to be a phillies fan.

Win or lose (we win in 5) I am having the time of my life right now. Let's go Phillies!

No thanks. I've seen our bouts end in a terrible crash that was the fight to the death thread. I can't deal with that kind of heartache again. Not now.
