Philadelphia Phillies

Both of the 'blows to the head' were weak calls (one vs. Brady one vs. Flacco). The refs were consistent. The Terrell Suggs call when he DOVE AT BRADY'S KNEES was a good call. It appeared that there was intent.

Speaking of hits, how about the hit Brady put on Ray Lewis on the QB sneak TD? That was beautiful. Brady blowing up Lewis! #52 has still NEVER BEATEN NEW ENGLAND IN HIS CAREER! WAAAAH! Sorry, Ray!

bah too much football talk. Whos going to the games Wednesday and Thursday. I'll be there for Thursday. 2:37 start talk about a messed up starting time.

Can't believe lidge came through. I almost had a heart attack, at 205 this morning I thought I had fell asleep and was having a nightmare but damn did he pull through. Let's go phillies!

Just one more game. Thank the heavens its at a decent hour. I missed the last 3 innings. I heard Lidge closed. I'm glad he did if we don't get him in a groove we are going to have a VERY hard time finishing people off.

1 down, 7 to go until a parade!!!

....a parade in which I wouldn't miss for the world. I can't believe lidge is pulling it back together and hamels is falling apart. He was acting like such a baby last night when he got pulled in the 6th.

And how about ibaneze!!!!!! If we get the pre all star game ibaneze back for these playoffs we are unstoppable, regardless of how many runs out bullpen gives up.

LET'S DO THIS THING!!!!

My favorite teams are in the following order:

1.) Red Sox

2.) Whoever is playing the Yankees

Go Angels!

EZ Pooper is really a Red Sox fan deep down. Patriots too. He's just jealous that Tobacco road is the only game in town down there in Nothe Ca' lah-na.

-Tom

They continue to make the MLB playoffs, which is better than UNC. They can't make the MLB Playoffs.

You still have the (fake) Panthers and (fake) Hurricanes. And Tobbacky Road. Good ole Tobbacky Road.

They did damn good this year, this decade actually!

How about them NC sports team! Whoo! Yeah! Go NC!

[/ QUOTE ]

You should feel good about Boston College whooping up on NC State today.

Of course, Duke managed to beat State by a wider margin last week.

Just gets you thinking is all.....

*Edit

Duke did not beat NC State by a wider margin than BC. I wrote that before the game was over, and that running back kept jamming the ball in State's score hole.

Only two, so far. But we didn't get help from the government (remember the season after 9/11?, where all of a sudden the "Patriots" were unstoppable, and the worst call in NFL history [see "tuck rule"] allowed them to advance to the Super Bowl and beat the "buccaneers"....yeah, that had conspiracy written all over it) or cheat with cameras to win those two.

Bellichick has lost his edge. Now it seems any old coach can cut the sleeves off of a sloppy hoody and beat him.

"advance to the Super Bowl and beat the "buccaneers"...."

Actually it was the Greatest Show on Turf, the Rams. We beat their receivers up so bad that they had to change the rules after that game (so Peyton could win one).

You need to check your facts EZ. All of your anti-Patriots grousing makes you sound like just another jealous Panther fan. I bet you were on Arlin Spector's bandwagon, too. Sour Grapes, I say!

-Tom

After I wrote my last post, I went to the store and while there, realized my mistake in naming the Buccaneers as the conquest of the Patriots in that Super Bowl. I remembered it was the Rams because the ram signified the middle east, and terrorism in general. I think I heard that Osama Bin Laden bet on the Rams to win that year. GWB was not going to let that happen.

I may be a jealous Panthers fan. That might be my biggest problem.

What I need to do is check my facts, just like you said. I do know that the Patriots are playing the Titans today, so that's like a guaranteed win right there. I am praying for your team to lose.
