A good day by all here are the adjusted final scores.

Unfortunatly, no women competitors this year.

The representative for the ITCC will be decided on June 23 at our master's challenge where the top 6 from the east will square of with the top 5 from the west.

way to go
saw some names from last year's western comp. I'll be judging the Secured Footlock again. our's is a week from Saturday.
Jim Roach have an injury or is the competition that much better out east? If I remember correctly he swept last year's western comp. might have placed second in one event.

Treebeach,

I am not sure why. I know there are a few women climbers in the chapter, but I seem unable to reach them. In the past we have had women compete sporadically. In my experience, they did well considering the amount of time they had climbing.

Perhaps, next year I will work with the chapter and establish a women's division complete with prizes ect. and get the word out as best I can.

I not really on a crusade or anything. It's just that, I have learned so much from the comps. I work at a small company. In the past, the competitions were the only way for me to see and learn new stuff. Now, having achieved some measure of success, I want to pass that on. I feel that the men's division in Penn Del is fine. We always see alot of new climbers every year. Now I would like to see enegery concentrated on the women's division.

Any suggestions?

Re: Penn-Del comp (western)

PennDel West was a blast this weekend. The site and weather was beautiful (same park as ITCC 2004) and there was a huge childrens fair going on at the site as well so there were tons of people there.

There were 25 competitors split between the apprentice and journeyman categories, sorry no women climbers present this year. After all was said and done the following climbers will be heading to the Master Climb at State College, sorry if I ruin the spelling:

The brothers Kruljac, I believe Rob and Ryan?
Tony Tresselt
Mr. Dendreau, I am sure that spelling is wrong, but it is something like that. Someone set me straight please.

Kudos to Scott Sjolander and his excellent crew for putting on one heck of a show. The kids climb was super impressive and a ton of fun for the kids.

Good luck to all at the Master.

Re: Penn-Del comp (western)

Hey, here are the top five (not already qualified in the east) from the Penn-Del west competition.

1. Rob Kruljac
2. Tony Tresselt
3. Fred Fisher
4. Rick Denbeau
5. Ryan Kruljac

For the actual order of finish just throw Pete Fixler in at # 1 and shift the rest down. Christan Lindsay finished 6th (first in the east)and Ryan Kruljac finished 7th .Or something like that!

Looking forward to State College June 23
