I have been out of tree climbing for several years and am getting back into it slowly and changing some things as well. I pulled out my Petzel Pantin ( old one ......green in color ). The silver heel strap buckel is missing. Does anyone know if Petzel sells replacement parts? If so....anyone their contact info???

Do you mean the flat metal two piece buckle?
I replaced mine right away with a spring loaded webbing buckle. The one I used was in my sewing stuff.
The reason that I changed it was that the two piece was a challenge to operate with winter gloves on.
YOu should be able to rustle up a buckle like this one.

I have one from a CT foot ascender that the attachment point for the webbing harness failed. The webbing latch is yours if you want it. I also use a strap from an Alice military pack on my foot harness for SRT knee ascender, similar to Tom's but a bit easier to use IMO.

Here you go Tom. I get these for $2 a piece at a local military surplus store. They are used of course. the strapping is strong as anything and they work super for the appilcations I have used them on. The foot harness pictured cost me all of about $12 including the copper rivets, Amish sewing and the delta link. Works great, remains on throughout the climb just like the CT or Pantin.
