Here's an interesting climb. I retrieved this from a red oak off the shore of lake mich. The wing was tangled 70' up, in the canopy of a Red Oak. The paraglider was rescued by the fire department. They used a portable tree stand to ascend to the victim and lowered him with a rope and harness. No injuries just some interesting stories. I wonder if all FDs are equipped with a "climber tree stand" for those rescues with limited access.
