Pant's

@Peetle my main prob is not clogger specific. My pants rub against my rope as it comes out of the foot ascender. Makes my rope stop passing through the ascender...
Ok! From your perspective how could this be improved? Maybe have it closer fitting around the ankle?

I'm not sure. I think any/all of the following:

I could order shorter pants, or skinnier pants.

Put a piece of stiffer plastic material there, like the teufelberger rope buckets and harnesses have.

A couple of questions.
What are you currently wearing, and have you tried the Zeros?
They are possible the most fitted pant on the market.
That's an interesting idea about having a stiffener, I will look into that

Thanks

I haven’t had that problem before. What boots are you wearing and where is your foot ascender? Mine is right down low on my meindl airstreams

I wear viberg boots with the new petzl plantin, but have clipnsteps on the way that I will be using from here on out. The ct foot ascender performs much better. Of course, the higher I get the better the weight of the rope slides it through, but some days it is hard to get it sliding even if I'm 45 feet up.

My kiwi klimbers/kk spikecender work pretty well, but I do sometimes notice retarded action with that combo as well. The gaffs should be taking the pants out of play.

I think some of these issues led to the development of the jet step, so I feel like lots of guys have this issue to some extent. For me, the pants are *part* of it.

I don't own any real saw pants...I mostly wear dickies but if my pants are short enough then this happens to me too.
Sometimes I will loosen my belt so the pants sit lower on me
So I think its something that happens with all pants...that why i don't blow the big bucks on saw pants unless I can try them on
For 200-300$ everything has to be perfect

Hey Pete,

Your Clogger Zeros are amazing! There is one guy on my crew who won’t/can’t wear them because there is not an option for length. He is a 36 waist but only a 30” length. Will you ever offer more options for sizing? Thanks again for the best pants I’ve ever worn!

Thanks Derek, I wear spiders as my office/sales uniform and love them too!
We are currently working on some more standard options for sizing as we are starting to hear this comment a bit. Until that becomes available, he is best to go with the custom sizing, which is another 15%, but if he asks nicely there is a chance we could embroider his name on them  (this can only be done during the production process, not afterwards so only available on custom trousers)

Thanks for the quick reply Pete! What is the process for a custom order? Who does he contact? Thanks!

Glad to be of assistance!
You can order custom sizing direct off our website goclogger.com (for North America) and just follow the process through the online store there.
Just so you are aware, there is a 3-4 week lead time on custom products.
Would love to see some pics of you folks in action in the Zeros, be sure to tag us on Facebook or Instagram if you can!

In fact, here is a thought! I'm new on here, and dont know if there are rules around such things, but would be keen to do a little photo competition on here.

The person that posts a picture on this thread of themselves or a workmate wearing Clogger gear in it prior to the end of the month (May2019) that gets the most likes will get a free Clogger beanie, cap and t shirt delivered to them anywhere globally!

If this is not allowed on this forum let me know and I will delete this post.

Where'd you get that picture of me?:LOL:

So what do you use while chainsawing?
Dickies, carhartts, whatever's clean and sometimes chaps on the ground. I'm going to get some saw pants someday when the closest saw shop (hour and a half away) carries them and I can try them on first
