p.ivy

I''m looking for a better 11mm climbing line .i have been using the pos.ivy for a year .any ideas wold be great!thanks

If you can afford the dough I have heard good things abou sampson's lightning, although I havent had the pleasure of tossing an end over a limb yet!

I have been using PI for a couple of years. Good climbing line. No complaints. It does like to pick a little in natural crotches and will milk but all in all will treat you well as long as you take care of it. I think I'm going to try the Lava for my next climbing line. It is not supposed to milk.

I heard from a very good source that Lightning stretches like a rubber band.

Might be good for a swing rope.

But come on now, Lightning is so PRETTY! I have been going through the P.I. vs Lava debate myself, and I am finally convinced that PI is the answer... A couple of guys I know have problems with their Lava not maintaining its integrity, that is becoming narrower in parts. It is not because of rope abuse either.

Try the Tachyon Orange/Blue or Orange/Gold line. I have the Tachyon (orange/blue) and the Lava (blue/orange), and the Tachyon is different somehow.

I love the Orange Tachyon, and it blows P.I. away.

As far as 11mm lines go i like blaze. If you like something a bit larger PI is the way to go. I climb on on the bluemoon which is the same as PI just different color.

A rope that has the cover milk is in no way a bad/defective rope. The milking occurs normally with use as the cover strands get intimate with the core, everything tightens up and pushes the excess down the rope....

I still like the blaze the best. It's the coolest.
