p.ivy

Blaze is no good. I climbed on it for a year+ and it was OK compared to my PI. I've only heard that lava/tachyon only last so long before you have to replace it. I'd try fly/PI/velocity. I'll be calling you in a day or so to tell you why buddy if you haven't already heard the news.

The ivy feels good but nat.crotchs it seems where out alttle.they say its made for false crotching may be thats why .how about the fly seems like a good line?I know jman i had to ban the blaze lanyard.i know you hating it .what are climbing on now?hmm

I'm climbing on neopro right now and really like it, It don't flatten out as bad as blue moon or other 24 strand rope, so it has less surface tension, if you re-direct through a natural crotch or simply have just bob and weaved through a few branches it causes less friction and you can move more fluent. Now if you use revolvers and pulleys through out the whole tree great but its still hard not to rub on a branch or two.

PI is fine in natural crotches, it's tough as nails. I normally use a false crotch but PI performs better when it's nice and fuzzy. When it gets a little glazed I run it in natural crotches a few times to re-fuzz it.

KBacks! Cool avatar, a cross between positioning and pool, killer idea.

Thanks that picture was taken by my wife at the St Louis ITCC. Petzl had put on a little competition that anyone could sine up for.
The object of the game was to walk around the table on 4x4s with out touching the ground, with a tie in point over the center of the table if you slipped of you scratched, it would be the other players turn, if not you could set up to take the shot, you could have you're feet on anything except the 4x4s, The side of table the fence or just suspended from the climbing line & lanyard it was all was fair game, before you made the shot you had to have two points of attachment.
After all of that you played pool by straight eight rules, after playing about seven or eight people I won The grand prizes of Petzl sequoia, 4 OK carabiner,1 Pantin Foot Ascender,Vertex Vent Helmet,12' grillon with CT rope clip,Caritool and a lg petzl swivel. So not bad for playing a few games of pool. WAY COOL!

What news? Something bad about Blaze? Private message me if you don't mind dude.

When I go out to do real tree work and not just play, I grab the bag with the Poison Ivy in it every time. I feel safe on that diameter.

It may not be the best for footlocking, or the best for knot control, but for all around it gets my vote!

I love my Blue Moon. The people at yale told me that the only difference between it and P.I is color. Sherrill has poision ivy and everyone else is Blue Moon. I don't really want to climb on anything else it's like a rock!
