Our crane job, finally done!!!!!

Well, it took awhile to get everything set up for this job, but it went real smooth today. 3 trees in 3 hours. Two with the crane, and the other with just the bucket because the crane left and this one we could just piece out. The pics go in a weird order, but after I get them resized, I'll post the best on the site here. All bucket work was done by WoodLandTC on here. My Dad and I were ground crew/photographer, unhooking the slings, etc. Very cool job. Can't wait to meet up again with WoodLandTC!!!! Heres the link and like I said, the pics are not in order. I need to check out a different site, that I can post them in order on. Enjoy!!

Alright, a test. The Electric boxes we had to avoid.

Alright!!!! Now, from that first pic in order.

Heres the crane we hired out to use. Very nice guy. WoodLandTC uses him for every crane job.

All in all, very fun job. Enjoyed working with WoodLandTC. Even learned a new knot. The Highwaymans hitch I think its called. Very cool knot. Thanks for looking.

Why couldn't the pieces just be dropped? I don't see anything in the drop zone.

Am I not seeing something? There looks like room on the other side on the boxes...

Hey RangerDanger,

I had a blast blast today. Job well done everybody. It looks like you took some pretty good pictures. I took a few with my phone while you guys where movin the crane, not sure how they will turn out though. Anyways, thanks again.

Yes, almost everything could have been dropped. These trees where in a water drainage ditch, so with the crane we where able to place the trees in a nice open field to be processed vs dropped pieces scattered about in a wet ditch. I did bomb the last tree though. It was all good.
