One-Handed Chainsaw Harness Clip

So heres what I came up with. I started with a bracket that is made for mounting parking lot lights to poles and cut off all of the unnecessary parts. (Anything that wasn't needed to make an "L" bracket)

I cleaned the surface area to remove any dirt and etched any smooth plastic to increase the bond strength. All that was left was cutting out the area to hook the bracket on to my harness, and adhering it.

I think it will work well, I probably could have made it look a little cleaner and painted it first, but maybe next time.

An additional note to anyone wanting to use JB weld, use painters tape around the area where you do not want it adhered. It ran a little on mine and caused some extra cleanup.

I have been using 2 rubber bands glued on the attachment point for my 200T. It creates a kind of corner trap and keeps the carabiner stiff. This makes it quite easy to put on and off the Shembiner, one handed

Nice Mike! Those "rubber bands" have a 1k uses. I use the same pig tail lanyard. Mine's girthed to the saw and I have a steel ring in the web loop. I cut the ring and JB welded back to close.
BTW. I met your cousin last summer at the bank. Kevin of KMB construction. I may have spelled the buis name wrong. I should had down to the Catskills to visit you sometime. My girl and I want to take a hike trip at Kaaterskill Falls.

Ha! Small World. My cousin mentioned something like as well but I couldn't fathom who he was talking about.

Kaaterskill falls is cool but there is alot of good hiking right around that area as well. My buddy (and groundsman) is also a Hiking guide in the area. Keep in touch : )
