One-Handed Chainsaw Harness Clip

It does. I'm working on that, myself, as even the large ring has to be kind of helped onto the Caritool with a couple of fingers and often requires looking down at it to get it on there.
I'm thinking something less floppy, that can be clipped on without even looking. Maybe not "welded to the saw" rigid, but stiff enough to stay oriented correctly all the time.

Am I getting close to what you're thinking?
Bingo! I feel like I've seen it done...but who knows...

With that in mind...what about the cord and tubing that is used on the TM saddle, MCRS, SAKA....if you know what I mean
That's a good idea. Especially the stiffer stuff like on the SAKA. Ice-maker tubing works well. Tough thing is though, we're talking about a really small area so splicing won't be possible. If I could get Mr. Mumford to sew me up a really short, multilayered-webbing saw lanyard, with a big ring that cradles against the back of the saw, that'd be the ticket. That's not too much to ask is it? I might have to hire yoyo to help design and create the new Logic Lanyard :)

Nice use of a ring open, points for style there.
I like that setup. But the Ring Open looks to be a tempting, but bad place to clip into. It's not a critical component to that system though.

If I remember correctly Mac, you use a similar system right? For one-handed action, you stow it while holding the biner, not the saw right?

Jay butchers ring failure is why I'll never use kong, and as far as the caritool goes, I hook the saw straight to it-right on the top handle of my trim saws and the handlebar of bigger saws, or sometimes the carabiner of my saw leash, but any of them can easily be done one handed on and off without looking

Let me know if you need any sewing done.

The Shembiner is awesome! I've been in all positions and my saw has not left my side. Been through tight canopies and evergreens and it hasn't caught. Very simple and works great. Definitely worth the money!

Honestly I never had the issue of clipping my lanyard into it. It sits pretty far back. Try it. You might like it.

I run a DMM Aero Bent Gate for direct saw attachment, one on each side. I have a biner in place of the ring found on a typical saw lanyard and the Caritools are just for gear.thumb_IMG_4490_1024.webp

Hahaha damn,i use lil weaver hook,i rip the springy thing off and put it straight on

i put the strap on the handle tight and straight to the hook,i like that its fixed. I put the lil metal ring on the small saws straight on,use a dog leash type lanyard. I hang all size saws with one hand, not looking at it alot of the time. Shembiner looks nice but bulky, seems would get caught on stuff imo
