Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize

Who cares what the rest of the world thinks? Thats your basis for awarding someone the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE? What he PROMISED to do, and how the rest of the wrold views his promises and political party affiliation!? Thats all they were, promises. he was 10 business days in, he accomplished ZERO at that point besides being the first black man elected president in the USA.



Leave it to Oakie to come in with some comment that makes absolutely no sense, has nothing to do with the topic at hand, and only serves his views.

Its sad that someone who is daily ordering the deaths of afghans and sending in troops could win the peace prize. It doesn't make sense. Obama appears to me to be just as bloody as the rest of them. His speeches on Afghanistan sound verbatim to those of Bush regarding Iraq. War is the only way the United States can maintain its economy anymore. Its all about the money. This delegitimizes the nobel peace prize in my opinion.

delegitimizes it. The Nobel prize lost
the tiny bit of legitimacy it once had
when that blowbag Al Gore won one.
They gave Obama the prize just to spit
in George W. Bushes face one last time.

Maybe because the USA does what
most other countries won't do.
I'm a 4 year military veteran, so
my perspective may be a bit skewed.
Just because we're tough doesn't
mean we're bullies, but we can
certainly come off that way.
The US isn't perfect, but the world
is sure better off in general because
because of things this country has done
for it. Excuse me while I step down off
my soap box...

I wish we could still topple regimes without all of the hassle of international condemnation.

Hussein has no right to be president, that much is clear. He has done absolutely nothing to better the world (but who cares), let alone the greatest country on this pitiful planet (may we some day conquer mars).

I would have voted for the senior citizen and the nut-job from Alaska, but something told me I would regret it.


Since the election, your insightful posts about Hussein have changed my mind about the man. I now know that he is a person who is devoid of any redeemable qualities, and should be impeached post haste. He is a fake, and not worthy of any accolades or respect. I also agree with your generalizations about the US, and the world. If you publish a newsletter, I would like to subscribe to it, so that I may write in letters to the editor praising your investigative prowess into the man-child who would be president.

If you were running for president, I would not only vote for you, I would help you run your campaign. You are without a doubt the smartest, most capable Masshole of them all.
