Hey all,

I've spent a lot of time sifting thru all the info here and figured I should start posting. Here are some pics of a pin oak I pruned with my boss (fellow buzzer Kathy Holzer). It was a big tree and a fun climb.

Here is a before pic.

By the way, I have to give a lot of credit to the buzz for my progression as a climber, as I have only been climbing for about 1.5 years. So...thanks everyone!

chris

Wow you did it, It is so hard to photograph b4 and afters of tree pruning because of all the background trees & stuff.
That blue sky background, really makes your work stand out. Beautiful tree and pruning, when you get down from that tree and look up, you can really be proud of your work!! Nice Photos

ok, last one. sorry to hijack yer thread dude!

dropzone wreckage and the swank joint we were working at - which is in the process of being gutted if you can believe it.

Reminds me of some hairy Elms we pruned down in Lethbridge, Alberta back in '97! They were big and had never been touched with a blade of any type.

yup, hairy is the word (not in the scary way though). the footlock up, even with the marbars was time consuming because i had to stop so many times to cut the suckers poking through my lines. shoulda gone srt i guess..
