Hey All,

On september 30th the New Hampshire Arborist Association held their first ever tree climbing competition.

There were 9 climbers total (7 men, 2 women). Since it was their first comp all climbers were scored alike.

The top three made the Master's who were:
1. Justin Donahue
2. Jonathan Royce
3. Richard Herfurth

After some outstanding climbing skills demonstrated the winner was Justin Donhaue.

Congrats Justin!

Thanks to all the sponsors & volunteers! Your support was a huge tribute to the event's success!

Could I have more details? My better half is from Keene, NH. Maybe a future vacation date. What type of sponsors did you have and at what levels? What year was this for your comp? Where was it held?
 
This was the first year that new hampshire arborist association had a climbing competition. I headed the competition. I didn't get that many sponsors. A hand full. My biggest sponsor was Bartlett. For the first year we had a great turn out. the copmetition was held at Valley cemetary in Manchester NH. the day was great and everyone walked away with a prize. Next year i'm not to sure when and where. I have a couple of nice parks picked out. let me know if you'd like to compete/sponsor next year.
