new silky

I touched it last Friday. I want one.

The sheath is a selling point.
It 'bends' more than I hoped. I want it for topping/felling cuts in medium sized trees, so the 'bend' may be a bummer.

I rock a Zubat and love it. I think I will buy this saw and see if it becomes #1.

I was able to use these 2

the other day at a job - very very smooth. I think for finishing the back cut they will perform at least as good as the Natanoko

I noticed these and thought they were appealing, but I'll have others give them a try before I spend the money on them.

I was asking my self, "Why did they make such a long and skinny blade?" My guess: longer strokes = faster results

Anyone?

i really like my sugoi. i also carry a longboy when i want to make felling cuts. i'm currently using my ibuki, but it doesn't feel as stable as the sugoi in the kerf. i've felt the benefits of a long straight blade for felling cuts, but too much flex may be a nuisance. i've seen people snap saw blades after too much vibration in repeated pull cuts...perhaps careful use is key.
