New Sequoia Where to put the chainsaw?

On the opposite side that you think of, usually.

i tend to keep mine in the middle of my harness as of late, it keeps the saddle from being weighed to one side or the other, and makes for versatile cutting with either the left hand or right (i often interchange primary cutting hands, dont really know why, one day ill wake up and im a righty, another day, im a lefty, it mostly works out that im a righty but once a week my brain forgets

no, im not kidding

So you place your chainsaw and handsaw on the same side?

I do. But the handsaw is on my leg, chainsaw hanging on the harness.

Yup. A few guys at work do the other side near thier lanyard but I prefer it being near my right hand. I almost always pull it out of the scabbard with the right hand so reaching around my back isn't comfortable for me. I also thinks its a little safer too.

If you look at the belt just under the side "D's" you'll see a couple of plastic eyes. (actually I think there are several all around)

I put some stainless shackles in there and that is where I snap in my saw lanyard. I prefer to carry it on my left but you can put it on either side.

I bought one of the new, heavy plastic clippers from Sherrill. It is on my right just behind my right hip.

Handsaw on my right knee, not calf.

Lanyard on left.

I'm right handed.
