When I see tools, is that too glamorous a term?, like this I think that it would be interesting to see what the product development process is.

From conception to market analysis to engineering, production then sales. With a 2 year satisfaction guaranty they have had to plan out how they're react to this too.

My guess is that they'll make a profit too. It makes me wonder why any of us work so hard at treework....sheeesh!

That's all we need is another piece of junk on the market for a home owners to purchase so they can continue to ruin there trees and the neighbors trees hanging over there property line.

I wonder what carpenters and other tradespeople think when new tools are introduced to make it easier for the average DIY'r do their jobs? How many of you have tools to that enable you to work on your vehicles, or do work around the house?

It's just another tool on the market that will sell to some, make some money for the company and employ a whole bunch of people. Will it take away from us? Not likely anymore than the consumer lines of Stihl, Husky and Echo do.

Is it functional? Sure, are there shortcomings to the design, yep! At the end of the day it will not hurt us in the least. If you actually have to sell against this then it's not your market.

IMHO....

I'm not proud to say it but I watched the infomercial too. First in disbelief, just wondering how someone will end up killing themselves with it. I figure cutting overhead will do the trick.

I personally like the ufo looking hedge trimmer thing, have yall seen that? lol
