This new work positioning sit harness designed exclusively for Sherrill Tree and manufactured by world renownd fall protection manufacturer Buckingham Mfg. is called the EDGE!
The EDGE is a direct result of the ergonomic research and development that went into the Ergovation, and listening to climbers like YOU! of what they like and dislike in a sit harness.

With respect, your talking like the Treemotion and TreeFlex never existed. Despite coming to the market after both the Treemotion and the Treeflex the Ergovation was not as progressive a harness as either the Treemotion nor the Treeflex in respect of ergonomic design.
Both of these harnesses (TF+TM) incorporated a 'pelvic' type back support (that are designed to be positioned below your lower spine and allow for freedom of movement for the lower back) rather than the typical back support design of all the other harnesses on the market (which restrict lower back movement).
When the creator of the Treeflex used to post here at Treebuzz it became widely accepted amongst members that his theories on the importance of a Pelvic type back support were not only correct in principle but progressive and ergonomic in relation to how we approach our work positioning in the tree. Have saddle/harness designers/manufacturers learnt nothing from this?
I have no connection with either Treemotion or Treeflex.
I use a Skylotec Kolibri daily as I like the solid legloops.
BUT - The only thing that would improve my Kolibri is a Pelvic type back support a la Treemotion or Treeflex. I hope this happens one day, then I'll have the perfect harness. In the meantime I try my best to position the old style back support of the Kolibri below my lower spine then tighten the waistbelt so as to try and keep it fixed in that position.
My point is this -
The Pelvic type back support has to be the way forward for all harness/saddle manufacturers.
It seems the design of the Edge has regressed in this respect - back to the old style back support that restricts lower back movement.
Any thoughts on this?
