New Kask Plasma helmet

I have always really liked the full face mesh sheild, many many years.

but 2010, i only had the kask with the clear sheild. I couldn't get over how many twigs and sucker growth wipped me in the lips. While wearing the kask with the clear visor down, i found myself for many months reaching up to flip down a mesh shield that was never there, when about to climb through suckers or use a saw. Irritating.

when using a big saw, i couldn't get over how many times a chunk of bark or wood would sting me on the chin or lips this season since I didn't have full mesh screen.

I'm ready to go back to the full mesh screen, I've given it many months and still miss the protection.

So, they both work good together Classic?

Dave,

After seeing how easy the face shield conversion is I did it with my first generation Kask. I bummed a faceshield from a buddy and drilled a couple of 1/4" holes in the tabs. Now I have a helmet for chipping. I've never liked the face screens for climbing. They got in the way and changed the colors of what I'm looking at.

I feel decadent now with two helmets!

We have a bunch of chipping to do in the next day or so. This will be a good test for me and the helmet.

Here are some picks of my Kask(with the original metal muff brackets) with the peltor screen on it.

Hey, thank you. I think the actual printed version is kinda dark and didn't show up as well as the online version. I thought they did a good job cutting out the crane boom and slings overlaying over the text and title bar. That picture was from just a few months ago too. I'm wondering if that tree should be the next short video to edit for youtube, since the tree has already been brought up in public. I'm happy to be on a cover, never thought it would happen so quickly, I had only recently submitted like 25 pictures and they liked quite a few of them. -of course, that was from 100's of pictures I reviewed for the best ones. Really hard to find truely good single picture.

thanks,
