New Husky Climbing Saw

I like how they have recessed they primer bubble. I think I saw at least 2 of those get ripped off. The price is right. The cc's are legit. Interested to see what becomes of this saw. Thanks for starting the thread

looks like it is lighter than the MS 200T with the same power

But will it turn 14,000?

Says 10K on the site.

Isnt that carb an electronic version?

Nope, Blinks, that's a stratocharged rebadged RedMax. Zenoah was bought by Husqvarna. It's rated at only 2.0 hp. Same weight as the 2139T Jonsered, which can be found for only about $75 more.(was cheaper than the orange version for some reason) Full pro saw. Have no idea how good this new saw will be. If it can be had at under list price, it'd be worth a try. I like the rear air filter....

That's rpm under load. Plenty high.

FWIW I was the first person in the USA to run this saw 4 months ago. What a BEAST! this saw pictured here is not the saw I ran, they changed quite a few things on it. I checked it out @ TCI, and was amazed at how many cool features were cut from the production model!

Hopefully theres another trick up there sleeve, and a new saw coming soon.

This saw is not the 200T killer that I ran, not even close!

200T KILLER ??? / that sounds like a little bull

That prototype that I ran was pretty sick. I ran it side by side against my daily use 200T with muffler mod and it ate it up in every scenario. It spun around 16K from the factory, and was damn hard to get ot bog.

there are others on this forum in my area who ran this saw as well. They all had the same remarks @ TCI when we got to see this saw first hand, thats not the saw I ran!

I believe ya Bull/ I just couldn't resist pullin' a little on your chain. I've allways enjoyed the footrace between Stihl and Husky, keeps em' honest in both camps. Just waitin for N.E and Indy Feel free to yank my chain any time its within reach, Later Bull

I checked out the new husky this weekend at a dealer I visit alot. found out the little thing has 35cc the 338xpt has 39cc. Be a good 192t contender. I was impressed by the new mods and hope that they move those mods over to the 338xpt. Don't know still slicing and dicing with the 338xpt, till that gets a little toasty no new saws for me wife says so. Xmas is around the corner though

oooh the muffler covers on this have got to be changed. Makes me mad just thinking about it. every single pair of pants I own is burned because of the dang muffler covers breaking. At thirty bucks for a replacement it makes Husky regardless of every other feature a POS IMO. The spark plug cover isnt even worth replacing they break so fast. One just has to live with getting zapped in the crotch every once in a while. If they were not given out at competitions I would never own one. as it is, I own three and so cant justify buying a stihl, by far the superior saw.
