New article up ....

I have openly confessed on treebuzz in the past and will repeat it here.
I have one handed a top handle saw since I first started climbing and will continue to do so on a daily basis.
I one hand a 460 on a weekly basis and will continue to do so .
I have one handed a 660 in the past and will do it again if the situation arises.

I do not recommend or suggest that any other human being copy or imitate me in any of these practices nor do I urge coax or suggest that any other person do these practices.

I one handled a saw today. Was removing a spruce near a house. So there where small limbs on the roof. Easy cutting and tossing them. I did wear a sleeve with chainsaw protection... just for the sidenote. I try to onehandle as less as possible. A miss-match cut helps offen alot. I would never remove a tree like this guy i found on youtube:

I think with propper rigging the job would have been done faster and safer.

seems like the stuff past the wires could have been bombed in big pieces as the road was wide open. Maybe they didn't wat to disturb traffic or something.. guy like that could work 20 years without a scratch or cut his left arm off tomorrow.. I did like the adjustable chainsaw lanyard though.. anyone notice that or use one???

Two words- Aerial Lift :sorprendido3:

I would hate being on the ground for that. I might turn violent. Though he did show skill and experience to be fair.

Rigg it from the lift? Or just cut and toss it? I get to do alot of this kind of trees. Some use aerial lifts with two guys in it here One cuts and the other holds the branch. Realy takes time...

And you dont seem very violent. Or am i wrong? How meny hockey fights tou have been involved lately?
