need some hybrid boots

I know, I know, this post has been done a thousand times, but I am looking for a specific type of boot. Want something in the vien of an approach shoe (hiking/rock climbing hybrid) that is a boot. Seen some cool ones at climbing comps but can't seem to find them on the net or in any stores in the area. Thanks.

Have had those boots and I like them but looking for something with more rubber on the toe, you know, more of a rock climbing style.

I like the fact that those are mostly one piece of leather, which means that they will last longer in my experience

La Sportiva's got a new advanced hiker and it looks like you could kick a Volkswagen in half with them. I'll post the name next time.

Have they preformed to your liking? I seem to remember that Mark C had these and didn't have that many good things to say about them. Do you like them?

those are the same boots I am finishing off now. They are comfy and light for pruning work but I bought them at the end of September and they only have a week or two of work left in them.
