Need a tree ID

I am poor at tree ID. This is a nice tree on Mississippi State campus that I walk by often. Would be fun to climb, but really not possible.

Most likely Swamp Chestnut Oak, Quercus michauxii.

I agree. Looks like Quercus michauxxi to me.

I 4th that. Cool trees. Trunk looks pretty similar to Quercus alba until you look closer at the leaves. Leaves could be mistaken for Chestnut Oak (Quercus prinus) but the bark will tell you every time.
