My Stress

It isn't about "liberals" it is about liberalism.

Also, they aren't calling people Marxists they are demonstrating the Marxist roots of critical race theory and claim that those who formulated the theory are self avowed Marxists.

I haven't independently verified those claims but have seen no reason to doubt them.

Believe, me they don't have to learn that sentiment in school
My son was told he couldn't play soccer at recess by a older boy "because he was a white racist and not a nigga"

Who taught this refugee to be a racist? Was it the people of Canada who gave him the house he lives in, the food in his belly and the shirt on his back, or the endless harping on race and the demonizing of "white people" by the critical race theory dominated education system?

If "they" listen to my experiences with a closed mouth as they are my experiences and my history, who is talking?

If only the voting citizens of America, could've understood that Trump was improving the economy - making it less oppressive for the average person. Cost of living and materials, would likely would be reasonable now.
But, that discussion will need another thread.

I worked for a contractor who seemed understand ventilation, in structures. When he put on a cedar shingled roof, he put down sheathing, then vertically laid out 1"/2" rough cut spaced 16" apart, then laid horizontally, 1"/2" rough cut, spaced 6" apart. As to have the shingles, not flat against the sheathing.

It would seem that even a properly done spray foam insulated roof, without venting between the foam and the sheathing, would cause trapped condensation.
Maybe the most assured thing to mitigate any habitat for mildew, would be a non-cathedral ceiling, to have an attic design, with high a good amount of cellulose blown in, and adequate soffit vents to ridge vents - given the PNW is a "relatively cold rainforest climate". Hopefully making an attic design will be more cost effective, than trying to correct the current deign.

Maybe try this detox supplement, https://buywaiora.com/
I've used it with positive results. It gave me more dexterity, and speed when working.
Though, I've found: when taking it, use as much as possible to detox fully, before stopping treatment.

Also, what I've understood, if one is consuming much animal proteins, especially animal muscle tissue, the liver and kidneys excrete more acid in the blood, than one consuming a vegan diet. Pathogens and bacteria also thrive more in an acidic environment.
Lime water is very effective for alkalizing the blood. I'd try having half a lime in 16oz of water per day, (lemon water seems less alkalizing) to see if it helps with tissue recovery, and less swelling in your joints.
It also seems to reduce, the next day soreness in my muscles.
Maybe also try, some ruby red grapefruit juice everyday, it is a minimally processed way to acquire the benefits of quinine, which has anti-pathogenic properties.

This is an unwelcome derail of someone else's personal struggle. Start your own thread.
Yes, I'm sorry. I knew that I should have somehow set forth my comments in a new thread but couldn't seem to figure out the best way to do that. I certainly won't continue the discussion here. Sorry for the derailment, Evo.

Evo, the underside of your sheathing does look a little ugly, but for a 40 year old home, thats not bad, do you think the sheathing is original? And the rafters appear to be good doug fir heartwood, and clean.

My parents had their house built around the same time as yours. Many builders didn't understand how to manage moisture in houses when you stuffed them full of fiberglass. They had the same issue in their cathedral ceiling, but fixed it early on. There is ALOT of misinformation floating around about managing moisture, and ventilation in buildings. Something that may not have been mentioned (I skipped past some of this discussion for obvious reasons), is a good plastic sheet vapor barrier, carefully taped and sealed. you mentioned a well sealed drywall, but the plastic sheet is better. You don't want to be breathing the same air your house is breathing. If it were me, I would spray whatever would kill or seal up the mold on that sheathing, install fiberglass with the ventilation you already know about, and then spend as much time as it takes to install a perfect vapor barrier. you need to caulk the holes in electrical boxes too, its worth it.

I live on the the other side of the inlet and weather, housing, and demographics are very similar here, I recently moved out of a moldy rental, into a cabin I built, and its been good for my mental and physical health. I'm sure you'll find some solutions to your challenges and I hope that its sooner rather than later.

oh, and merry christmas, if you're into that kind of thing.

It’s been a while. Peeling back more layers of the onion.
We are aiming for spray foam and deleting the roof vents. The good news is the rafter bays are 12” deep, so we can go with open cell to get r32ish a little under code but much better than what we have.
The question now is should I install wall vents…

Good luck evo! Such an undertaking. Wish I were there to help!
The wall to the left is listing outwards, kinda an engineering flaw and an earthquake in the 90’s didn’t help.
I keep running all the ideas on how to fix it, and keep coming back to a cabling system! How’s that for working within your skill set.

Here is the front of my 2500 cfm hepa airscubber’s pre filter. Just a white loose spun poly batt. Using this to ensure the work area is under vacuum or ‘negative air pressure’.ED540F4C-B118-444A-83D9-DCCE6F5E7BE1.jpeg

I have been in more than one building that had brace rods, running across from one side to the other, to support walls that are trying to spread them self outward. I’m sure a Google search for the show you how it is done professionally.
