My not so new two-handed ascender

i've wrapped that side with sling mid-climb to make that handle, put a krab in the trapping hole then a D-krab on that as extra handle side. Changed that to pull from a bottom hole, as more meant to carry force input correctly, this morphed to extra extension for foot power, with extra hand assist too. Any leg force is easier than arm, but pushes bod out of line, away from rope for extra leveraged load against own efforts to lift own self. So try to have more input into the 2 arms together tension side forces pulling inline, than the leg lift compression side force pushing out of line to balance efforts best towards cradling bod more towards inline.

Hate to alter any such finely engineered, polished to peak performance machine, maybe on their 8th revision in 15yrs by a team of a few dozen+ experienced engineers with over 2 centuries experience collectively as head start vs. my present thoughts. If they polished to peak, anything less is less, and tho greedily grab at apple i want; always keeping eyes open for what am taking away from the 15yrs of field research even more so than that apple. Scrutinize hard against self like condeming lawyer as devil's advocate. Only going forward cautiously when can't out argue WITH LOGIC against evil lawyer's case.

This will probably work.
It will be structurally less per the drilling, into thinnest passes, subsequent heat;
then the side pull in usage that didn't exist before etc.
Would constantly check for fatigue, stretch marks as doing own field design research now. At some point might carefully remove rivets, re-inspect holes for any downward (mostly) deformity. Maintain softer aluminum rivets into the harder aircraft aluminum.
