ms 660 chain brake

just had my chain brake get really tight today. i normally just give it a tap with my left hand at the end of a cut (flick my wrist). but out of nowhere it got tight and now i have to grab it with my right hand (which could be unsafe) to engage it... anyone have this issue? is it a quick fix? i should mention that the saw is fairly new with about 20 tanks run through it.

My husky's get that way, and I fix it by digging the crud out from around the band mechanism around the clutch housing and blowing it out real good with compressed air.

if thats all it is that would be great. i took off the side cover today and poked around a little with a flat head and tried to clean some crud but it didn't do much. i will try to use some compressed air and clean it good now that im home..
