Morbark chipper

I'm noticing that they have used alot of different motors in these machines even like the same year machines have like 4 different motors that I've seen so far I would like to have that Cummins motor in mine with a turbo but I'm happy with the 4cyl Ford diesel that's in mine it runs well and gets the job done. Honestly so far my only complaint is the throttle set up I have to use a vice grips to hold the throttle otherwise it slowly moves and also I feel like I should be running around just alittle higher rpms sometimes but it doesn't want to stay in that spot. I'm gonna be looking for a new set up for the throttle maybe some type of aftermarket set up and she should be running how I want it to. I just gotta see where I can locate these parts anyone have any suggestions. Thanks
I use a vise grip on mine too. My cumings isn't a turbo but does just fine without it. The ford diesel probably isn't much different.

Good paint job.

For the Morbark, coming close on the paint will be tough, but a rattle can that is close to the color looks better over rust than rust, until you get it done right.

You want quality blades, not cheap blades. Three sets is optimal. Two sets is almost requisite. Blade-sharpening turn-around is often 1-2 weeks for me.

Check your anvil condition and gap.

Check everything your can for tightness, from engine cover bolts to oil pan bolts, if you can.

Morbark sells the paint in a rattle can
