Monkey Beaver harness

@papadirk; Has there been any communication from them with regard to this? I do not know much about New Tribe as a company. Are they really small, with only one or two skilled craftspeople making these saddles by hand? If so, I'm thinking each saddle must take a long time to produce, and they've probably got a backlog already.

Now that I think about it, it makes me wonder how much profit there is in each of these saddles? It would seem like the materials are expensive, and all of the time and labor that goes into making each one must eat up most of the price of each one produced. I guess they must break it down and make a large quantity of each part of the saddle, to try to make it more like a mass production item.

Do they bother to return an e-mail inquiry on the order status?

Thanks for your time.

New Tribe is a longstanding super legit tree gear making company. They're efficient in their production, they work primarily with fabric (harnesses, tree hammocks etc.) and have a highly skilled staff working on production. Casey is their lead harness designer, he is constantly innovating, not content to sit back on their many past successful designs. New Tribe has always been innovative, will talk to you on the phone and will customize if you ask. They are full of heart with love for the tree climbing community and the trees. If there is some delay right now in delivery or communication I imagine they are being hit with demand beyond what they expected. They are in for the long run and will make it happen for you. I'm not affiliated with NT in any way but have dealt with them for many years. I'm very happy to see this harness happen, great introductory vid by August, brilliant design, kudos to all involved!

One other thing that is noteworthy, I'm pretty sure they were first on the market with something we take for granted, the fabric and ring throw bag. I never had to work with an actual "throw ball", and I'm glad for that. Thank you New Tribe for making my tree climbing life better in so many ways.

I knew when I ordered that it would be a saddle worth that wait! I received the initial order confirmation email and have just been waiting patiently since. I was really just pointing out to @fastbub that this was not an off the rack purchase.

I put it off till last day of initial reduced price offer. Didn't think of all the orders stacking up in front of me - ha, ha. They got an order confirmation right back to me. Then I had a couple of follow up questions/requests, answered those promptly. Very professional.
