Modified TreeMotion Super Lite

i know plenty of people who climb on modified/self made/not ce-certified gear in germany. i‘ve dissected ce-certified splices from „reputable“ companys, they were horrible. i much rather climb on my own not ce-certified splices…

in the end who‘s gonna certify our anchorpoints? ;)
That makes sense, most experienced climbers find something to be unhappy about with their gear and find ways to make it better for their climbing.

I am that guy. I like my stuff very streamlined. You did well with your mods Andrew. My evo, all I do is cut all the long webbing for my waist buckle, leg loop buckles and my hip/ lower D webbing to suit my size. I never move the sweet spots....those positions stay til retirement, usually 3 years. One thing I hate is gear biners like the vault or caritools. They stay sticking out, I prefer smaller non locking biners that I use cable ties to allow them to stay flat or sticking out. Driving now but will show a pic later, I must also have a shembiner for my chainsaw. Simple setup really as I am a minimalist.

Whenever I'm trying to figure out how to get extra lengths of adjustment strap webbing out of the way on my TM I think of you simply trimming it off ;-)

My first harness was an old, rotting leather positioning belt that had been discarded by a telephone repairman. Used it for a couple of years before it finally fell apart.
