Mini Skid Winch / Mini Yarder

I'd consider doing something to be able to machine-feed, even if not large amounts.

Building piles of limbs "right" makes a huge difference.

When my tray folds down, its manually bolts to the funnelling part of the infeed.

I can get you a pic for an idea. Basically, a wing bolt (like wing nut) screws into s welded in place nut. Basic. Burly.

I could, and admit have brainstormed beefing up the feed tray, and more feeding with the mini.
The amount of work it would take to make my chipper mini friendly I’d be better off buying a different chipper.
The upper freed wheel down pressure is just a counter weight. I cannot stuff the infeed by hand without causing hangups. The typical style of tailgate feed tray with wings that lock in place wouldn’t work without Rerouting a bunch of hydraulics.

The whole infeed system, wheels and all are hinged and held with 3 3/4” bolts. This provides clear access to service the anvil and knives. So there isn’t much that’s substantial to work with.

It could be done, for sure, and I wholly admit it would be nice. But the mini comes to play just 2-3 times a month. I do a strange combination of pruning and felling way more than climbing removals in tight quarters. I only haul wood 2-5 times a year.
