...won't tell you how long it took me.
Only one??Using a speedy stich is certainly a mind cleansing event, it took me a beer and a shot to get this half done.
Love my speedy stitcher. That thing can punch through some tough material. Nice work ML!Using a speedy stich is certainly a mind cleansing event, it took me a beer and a shot to get this half done.
Having the holes from previous stitches helps too.Using a speedy stich is certainly a mind cleansing event, it took me a beer and a shot to get this half done.

They keep the ends from opening so easily. Otherwise a branch will split it open like you will do with your finger.Second side done. What are the extra end straps for Rich?
Perhaps not as much as you think. I got a used Consew 226 for about $700. Got it for a little side business making some winter camping equipment. Paid for itself and then some...Just don't tell me how much it cost you. I want one, but I'm scared to even ask what they go for.

Soon two more!Different kind of machine. Richard has a CNC tacking machine.
Have you tried 1" tubular webbing, put a little shoe goo or fabric paint to stiffening it up a little bit.I'm thinking of getting one of these leather savers to install (either velcro, restitch or slide on) on a flipline as a kind of replaceable sacrificial protection for the rope cover against nicks and such - most nicks for me happen around 2' from the main connecting end of my flipline.
Does anyone have any experience/opinions on this idea?
Would the leather take to reshaping itself in a half straight/half curved configuration?
Thanks
Just a superb idea - Richard Mumford striking gold again!
