micrograb vs microcender

I've been looking at getting one or the other. Is the microcender less reliable because it is spring loaded as opposed to a locking nut? Any comments on either?

The micrograb is recommended for situations where it stays on line semi-permanently, definitely safer than the microcender for lanyards. The microcender could conceivably (i have heard of incidents) come off the rope if the spring pin was pushed a certain way by a twig or whatever.
