As long as the diameter is right, shouldn't be an issue.

Have you considered using a hitch tied directly to your d-ring? There is another thread about this in case you want more info. This setup works really nice I think. As long as you have small drings.

I've been using the micro on a wire core for a few years and like it for that application.
On my 1/2 " three strand I've been using a hitch and wanted to try the micro.
I'll probably use kernmantle for my next flipline.

I used that setup for a while. It wasn't a safety issue, but I found that the 3 strands would eventually unwind from the micrscender use. Not sure how long it took, but it looked very weird after it started to un-twist.

Ok thanks, I have a 12 strand I can use in place of the three strand.
