I tend to be an Iron collector, I just purchased a Mat3 75',We also have a good ole altec60 material Handler and the MAT3 60. I will probably regret it but need to free up some cash. Not familiar with a Mat 3? They are hands down the most versatle pruning! yes I said Pruning/removal bucket on the Market. I have owned asplunds, and rangers B4, The telescoping upper boom is amazing. to many advantages to type. Super short 84" wheel base 01 F650 chassis, rigging winch - I'll miss her, but I have my new 75'

Too bad the Mat 3's dont over center. Is it a 60' platform height? How much horizonal? Do you know its up and over height (bottom boom straight up, top 90* from that, distance to the ground).

I will agree that a telescoping boom does wonders for getting around INSIDE the tree. Add a 4' jib on the end and its even better /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Sold it today 69K after about $1500 in repairs for a DOT brake caliper damaged. Never had an ariallift they overcenter had a asplundh b4 it overcentered. There great buckets I'm sure, but I don't think you can compare that telescopic boom to any other lift, there like apples to oranges.

We already miss her short wheel base - thank god we have the 70
