LTB Stump grinder wheel

I'm looking to build a stump grinder. I can't afford a new/used one and figure I'd try to build my own and can make it like I want it and not be afraid to Change things on it without ruining the resale value. I plan to be using a 23hp diesel engine on it and having a blade to push the chips back in the hole.

Where r u located? The wheels are ridiculously heavy and will cost a fortune to ship. I think its probably to big for that setup anyway and we replaced it because of excessive wear....

Jason I am in North Dakota. Where are you located? I do travel a lot and if the price is right and I'm going to be in your neck of the woods I could pick it up? I'm going to Kentucky in a couple weeks then over to Denver and home.

Looks good! I have a Vermeer SC130 right now. Has gotten me through 2years. Looks just like yours. I've ground out up to 80" stumps with it. Tired of beating myself up trying to do the big stuff. It still has made over 10k in 2 years (only able to grind for about 5 months out of the year because of frost and snow). I figure a self propelled unit will help production and as I can't afford a manufactured one I figured I'd try building one. I also "identify as gender financially disabled" lol!
