It says in there that " the Crane begins and ends with the Hydraulic system" . They didn't mention the two safety features , the Check Valve for all the cylinders and the Swing break that keeps the crane from rotating. With all the parts of a crane the part I am most concerned with when I ride a crane is the Cable spool . Looking at the spool in the morning and how it is wrapped tells me all I need to know about the "operator". I'm more worried about a back wrap or short free spill than I ever would about the ball . Plus you're only as safe as the ground that you're set up on . What would this business be without hydraulics ?
