Looking for spikes

why bother, tophopper? That's what I've climbed on for 30 years....the same set...still works like a charm, in all trees. Sure, you could get lighter shanks, but you ain't gonna find a better gaff than that Klein!

Have also used Brooks, Bashlin alu's, and B'ham 3.5 inchers, they all work. And us westerners prolly spend more time on our gaffs than you wimpy eastsiders.... /forum/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

Food for thought Roger, Ive never really used any others and thought an upgrade would be nice, but your saying the gaff on Kleins is the best? How so? Angle?

Who you callin an eastsider? /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just got some virtually new B'T3's with the high end velco caps for $175.00(CAN) out of a pawn shop. They might have been used 6x, they even came in the original box.

Yep, tophopper, the angle....

....of the dangle.....

is good...

or is it inversely proportionate to the heat...

... of the meat..?

Ive got lightly used pair of wolf claw spikes that a guy gave me to try to sell for him. He wants $250 for them.

I dont know anything about them so any feedback is welcome too.

Wolf Claws...uggghhh.

I reckon they could be gotten used to, but felt strange the couple times I climbed on 'em. As well, the ratchet strap setup is crummy, the regular strap option should be easier to put on.
