Hello!

Just looking for a double roller chest box to experiment with. I'd prefer on that is old and otherwise beat up as I'm gonna be doing some modification for a particular purpose.

Needless to say then, it has to be cheap.

Let me know what you got and how much you want for it.

ThanX!

YES, YES I AM!

Just got one in from Sherrill today (love the price buster policy!)

Went out and played for a while...

I shoulda gone to SRT rope walking years ago.

What kind of system are you using? I've been wanting a double chest roller for a mitchell/rope walker hybrid system that might as well be called "the bicycle" because its like riding a bike up a tree.

I have a dbl chest box I use with the mitch system and I love it.

Just got the PMI (rock exotica) double roller from Sherrill. I sewed a custom chest harness and have only been testing methods.

The best by far is using a pantin on the left foot and a knee ascender (bugee to chest plate) on the right leg. I also use a double handeled ascender with a cow tail above the roller for a self belay.

I'm slow but I was doing 30 foot ascents in the 20 to 30 second range.

I'm only using one roller with this method but, I'm going to play with the dDrt option and use one roller for the falling end of the line and the other roller for the tether leading to my friction hitch overhead.

Primary focus is to be able to get comfortable ascending and descending on the SRT. then I'll throw the workline evolution into the mix.

Having been a schlub and using only body thrust or batman walk for years I'm feeling pretty stupid for not trying the rope walking before.
