Longest pair of chainsaw pants

I'm 6'4" and wear a 34W 38L pant. Do they make chainsaw pants this size? the longest leg I have seen is a 35" on the gladiators 'long leg' version. I'm sure there are a few other tall guys out there having trouble finding a pair of chainsaw pants that fit. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ethan

Ethan, I'm 6'4", with a good 36" inseam. I wear Phanner Stretch Air pants every single day, and they are actually just a hair long for me, which is certainly welcome. The label inside shows M + 7. I think this means medium and long. I normally wear a 34" waist, but I could get away with a 32" in these pants. I know, these are not Gladiators, but if the sizing and relative stretch carries over to other garments from the same brand, I'd go with Phanner. I'm looking to get some for myself soon, too. From my experience with the Stretch Air, I have no hesitation to try something else from Phanner. No other clothing companies seem to really cater to taller guys like us. Good luck!

Maybe just buy what you think might be close (focusing on waist size) and bring them to a tailor and have some cuff extensions stitched in. That's an inexpensive way to get the right sized pants, and support your local economy. Most chaps won't cover your boot area anyway, never mind that cutting arund your ankles is totally whacked.

Pfanner have a +7cm version as mentioned earlier. Have you tried these before Ethan? I think the leg length is fairly generous as oceans has found, but still maaaybe a little shy for you??? It may be possible to have a pair custom made by them too. Let me know if you want me to look into that with them for you.

Yes I am curious to know if they would custom make a pair. I would appreciate if you could look into that for me. Any idea what they might charge for that? Also the tailor idea is a good one. If the price is too much for them to custom make, then I may just take them to a tailor.

Thanks for the help.

Another $0.02:

In all my experience, nothing is more comfortable for long hours in the saddle than pants with the right crotch stiching, and ones that fit snug around my upper legs. When fabric bunches up in the saddle leg area, things can get uncomfortable, real quick. I generally wear cycling shorts underneath, to keep everything in place. Though my Arborwear fit right around the waist, they have too much fabric around my legs, so I ach for the Phanners whenever I climb. I wear them every day, and wash them only once a week. The price was a bit to take in when I made the purchase, but after a week, I felt they were worth every last penny.

I buy my pants from a local canadian company (can-swe) and they gladly do custom orders, add 6" to the inseam is an extra 35$ or so. Well worth it. They're great pants too, well made and designed. Might not be as flashy as Pfanners.
