Alright ... what's the website ... I wanna check it, too!!!

If you can avoid it, don't put them in parellel to one another, while following good placement otherwise. Can lead to vertical cracks between the rods. Species, spacing, and tree dependent.

Bull, good to know for the future.

Yes, absolutely stagger the holes.

I guess I shoulda looked to see you are in Quebec. My bad.
The A300 says to install them branch diameter above the union being supported. It also says to use 5/8" diameter rod for 14-20" diameter limbs, which I think is overkill. I think 1/2" diameter is fine.

The A300 Part 3 is full of overkill, basically corporate CYA. There is very little input from practitioners, so it keeps getting revised as it is. :(

Yea as many problems as we have with American Arborist supply ordering things. I did not have any issue when ordering special long drill bits and hardware for a huge linden. I had my 4' and 10' 15/16" bits in less than a week. Very reasonably priced as well. They weld a 2' auger on to a solid shaft of a smaller diameter (not sure what size it is), which allows the chips to clear the auger instead of clog it. Worked very well.
And I know the question will come up, Why so big? Guy has hit it on the head, A300 called for 10, 7/8" bolts, on this tree. Historic house 30' away, if something happens I followed the standards and did the best I could do. o_O
