Favorite Quotes from Nosak:

"This is a storm to biblical proportions" ,

" It's a no respect for people storm"

" I'm a little overwhelmed by the catastrophe"

Mr. Nosak is a moron, and he has surrounded himself with morons.

I had a good time watching it though.

At least in OCC the actual bike building was interesting when the made up drama was put aside. These guys didn't even do good treework. At least most of the PPE was in place...better than some OCC shop shots.

Grover's right,,,the public would think this is cool, and normal....whew...too bad :(

WOW....

First off, Mr. Nosak seem like a huge a-hole.

Second- i love the crane work.... makes me wanna run and hide in the truck.

Third- him showing off in the bobcat was just funny, any putz can roll a wheely especially when you just drag the back of the cat on the ground most of the time.

Fourth- Keep watching for when someone has a saw kickback into their head. I'm sure Mr. Nosak will just come over and ask him why he did that.

Fifth- This makes all tree workers look like a bunch of podunk hillbillies running around with a chainsaw.

Just had to get that off my chest

I can be frustrating at times.

Is anyone else surprised that a guy with a funky operation like that can afford a crane??

A lot of work went into what little I watched. If Nosak cleaned it up by focusing more on professional treework he could really have something. Otherwise it's a waste of time and money.

We had a bunch of small operation pop up in this area when storms hit. There is just so much work that you could start a tree company without any effort. Maybe he was a small operation and just used the storm to get some equipment going.

Guys, & Gals... I've been making sawdust for 20 years and am a certified arborist here in the Buckeye for more than 10 years and I thought that video was great! The guys who are criticizing that video are not fellas I'd necessarily care to call my buds. Thus having made that broad generalization, I'm also sure I'd be wrong in a few cases. But lighten up ya'll! I'm allabout safety but that crap does happen. And I'd bet that crane operator thinks twice about every big pic from then on. Also, it sounds like he was being "trained" at the time. "Put the best contruction on everything" I always say. I'm new to the buzzboard and like what I see so far! 3 cheers for all the contributors and the staff that make this all work. It's truly cool. I bet alot of the guys who were whining about that video have been in the business for less than 10 years. Is there a poll area to ask that question? yours truly--Steve the Tree Guy.

"I just want to protect you from the most dangerous vegetation on the planet"

"Let's cut some trees"

2 acres a minute, 24/7 in the U.S. That stat is from "the human footprint" on the discovery channel.

yes I do contribute to that sometimes.

I showed that video to my old buddy with 35 years at the sharp end of treework and he said, and I quote, "it was good example of bad treework".

Wow! The first time I watched it, I didn't finish because I was so disgusted. I watched it for a second time and saw the crane lift off the ground

They nearly put the crane down...

So, since the load ended up on the ground and the cab is suspended off the ground; does that mean if they slowly "cable down" the truck will come to the ground softly?
