Tree Dr. I'm not sure if your pulling my leg. I'm talking about a Lockjack as made by A.R.T. for climbing. You are talking about a Lojack. I suppose you could keep the Lockjack in your car, I'm not sure how it would help you recover it again though! Perhaps positive I.D.?

The LJ realy is a nice piece if you have never used one. It just doesn't fit my climbing style. I have gotton so use to having two points of attachment with a small seperation at the saddle that the single hookup of the LJ distracts me. I also never quite mastered the feel for realasing it. To me it either seemed to be all the way on or all the way off. That was probably due to not working with it a whole lot. It was really nice in a tree were alot of redirects were necessary. The added friction of the ReDe hardly effected the action of the LJ.

Yes tinman, you're right. Roachy pushed things by laying down a $100 bid. I wasn't bidding though. I was being the fast talking auctioneer. I asked if anyone would go $115, then I saw that no one was biting, so I tried $110 and/or $105. Seeing no one wanted to go higher, I said going once on the $100...

That being said,
