Limbwalker Tree Service is currently taking resumes for A Climber candidates.
Limbwalker is a team of professional arborists with a focus on high levels of quality and professionalism in tree care operations. Limbwalker continually strives to improve the quality of our community’s urban forest through the continuing education of our clients and employees. Limbwalker is driven by the ideals of elevating the perception of professional tree care workers, excellent customer service, and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities of A Climber include, but may not be limited to:
-Familiarity of all ANSI standards pertaining to arboricultural operations
-Working as a team member on a crew of skilled professional arborists
-Accepting the supervision of a Certified Arborist Crew Leader
-Proficient in methods of safe and efficient ascent and movement through large trees
-Pruning and removing trees of all sizes
-Installation of hardware in trees for the purposes of lightning protection and/or the supplemental structural support of trees
-Advanced rigging techniques for the purpose of pruning or removal of trees
-Use of cranes for the purposes of pruning or removing trees
-Reading and carrying our work orders for arboricultural operations
-ISA Certified Arborist (not a necessity for A Climber)
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work in all extremes of weather.

-Yearly stipends for boots
-Yearly stipends for climber’s equipment (amount based on skill level)
