Leg straps on a Liger

Does anybody using a liger-modded cougar have any suggestions on how to keep the leg straps from rotating too much?

I've tried running some accessory cord through a hole of the rigging plate with scaffold knots tied to either side of the strap so that it would cinch. This worked for a short while, but took the extra hole in the rigging plate out of play, and eventually worked itself untied. More trouble than it was worth.

I've also tried capturing the rigging plate with a fat wad of electrical tape on either side. This also worked for a time, but now the wads are loose and slide.

Thought about replacing the leg straps with some from another saddle altogether and really having a Frankenstein saddle. Treestuff doesn't appear to sell just the legs of the ergo which would maybe be a good bet, and the tree motion legs are pricey.

How are other guys solving this issue?
Thanks,
Jon

If you wanted Ergo leg straps I think they would go to bat for you at TreeStuff and get them. Service is what they are all about. They went above and beyond to get an Ergo set up the way I wanted it. They have also ordered other things for me that they don’t even stock.

I've just been suffering with it, and as long as I make sure to set the rigging plates so they aren't right up against the leg pads, but centered in the middle of the straps, I'm pretty comfortable. Would like to sew some sort of a keeper strap on there one of these days.
On another note, I got a look at yoyoman's NT Onyx today, and that looks pretty slick. Looked like a four-hole plate for the bridge I think? So you get the lower d's like a TM or a liger, and those teardrops leg pads look oh-so comfy.
