I run a small one crew owner-operated business focused on high quality tree care in Olympia, WA. We are currently seeking a qualified lead arborist/tree climber for employment. Daily climbing is required. ISA Certified arborist or desire to become one is encouraged.
We work year-round, four days a week @ 32-36 hrs a week. Come to the beautiful northwest and be an hour away from the ocean and the mountains.
Minimum requirements:
-Posses a valid WA state drivers license with a clean record (CDL is a plus)
-Non smoker
-Be an ISA certified arborist or at least 3 years of industry experience (ISA standards for climbing and ANSI A300 pruning standards)
-Proficient climbing experience including: technical removals, craning, rigging, spikeless climbing, proper pruning practices, cabling, ornamental and fruit tree pruning
-Ground skills such as ropes, GRCS, skid steer, pushing a rake
-Bucket truck and stump grinding operations
-General interest and enthusiasm for urban tree care and a desire to keep learning
-Foreman capabilities
-Honest, team player with a strong work ethic that can communicate with other workers and clients
-References
