ive got a couple more to download from another camera and a couple of short vid clips, i doubt ill get to it today so lets just say tomorrow

yes derrick, you will notice a new hardhat and earmuffs, safety glass were tossed the first 5 min due to terrible fogging, i have good ones that dont fog, well at least i had, but theyve gone missing

Looks like fun being way up there. Was there a lot of sway when you to the top out?

At least you basically had one large spar to take down. Did you block everything down? Or, were you allowed to send them via "air mail?"

Does Tulip Poplar stink like Plains Cottonwood does?

tulip trees smell pretty good actually, the sway wasnt bad at all, my ground guy shawn (ive nick named him human crane) is amazing, its rare that i feel most of the rigging til i have to block it down to itself.

these were all pictures of the first tree, my second tree was directly behind it crushing into the school. i limbed up the first tree (which is what all of the pictures is showing) then i set a block and climbed up the second tree, limbed that up and used my first spar to take huge pieces out of the second tree. i had to do this because the second tree was literally growing into the school and all of it was almost directly overtop of the building

everything was blocked down, i had concrete surrounding the area and a school literally inches away along with a fence and rodes that couldnt be touched

Nice pics. Here's a tip for foggy glasses. Spit on them(both sides) and wipe it off. I don't know why but it works.

sounds both disgusting and useful, thanks man (ill make sure to use a breath mint first)

What a beautiful natural stand of trees, and a magnificent specimen to work in. Maybe not old growth but up coming. It's always a fine opportunity to work in such a setting.

Great pics and good job!!

Love that last picture Marc!!! Good work. Glad to hear you got it done safe and on time. Now if only you were wearing a brand new ergovation then it might have went even better. Or you may have looked even sexier, if thats at all possible (feel the love man)

Gerry, yeah they are beautiful but I'll be honest they scare the crap out of me. It's probably due to the fact that I don't have a lot of experience with them (I don't have much experience to begin with, I've only been climbing 3 years) but they are very brittle and I can never gauge how big I can go without breaking my rig spot or worse yet the stem.

The place has a creepy feeling to it. I've heard stories of a climber 10+ years ago falling out of one of the trees any where between 30-50 ft. For some reason that story has always stuck with me when we work there.

Rob. I'll let ya know when the next rec. Climb will be. I'll let everyone know via treebuzz.

I have video I still have to edit. I'll let ya'll know when it's up. Thanks for the kind words.

Derrick, I'm having a hard enough time dealing with all of my sexiness now, if my new saddle raises it I'm gonna be in big trouble

We don't work sundays ed. 2.

Notice I took ya off of my ignore list. Figured there's plenty of knowledge I can absorb from ya when you decide to share it and not down others instead.

Hopefully good to see ya back man.
